Nothing. Graduation Alliance is completely free to eligible students through a partnership with your school district.
Graduation Alliance classes don’t take place on a school campus, and students aren’t required to be “at school” for a set number of hours each week. You make your own schedule — and as long as you meet or exceed your mandatory obligation of completing .5 credits each month, you can organize your day however you want.
No matter what life challenges you’re facing — chronic illness, mental health struggles, work-school balance, disciplinary issues — if you’re willing to work hard, Graduation Alliance will get you to graduation. Successful students are those who work independently but know how to ask for help when they need it. You’ll always have access to a team of “grad allies” ready to help you reach your goals, but it’s up to you to accept their help.
As a Graduation Alliance student, you’ll have a personalized support network to help you overcome academic and life challenges and thrive in an alternative learning environment.
Florida-Certified Teachers
Teachers are dedicated to helping you explore your interests and master course concepts — Message them or attend one of their weekly study sessions for one-on-one help.
Academic Coach
Your coach will build your education plan, schedule your courses, and monitor your pace and progress throughout the program to help you stay on track to graduation. You should engage in two-way communication with them and attend a virtual Academic Session at least once a week.
Local Advocate
Your advocate is familiar with your community and hosts weekly academic and social meet-ups where you can work on homework, get help navigating life’s challenges, and connect with other students in the program. You should attend at least one hour of a meet-up each week.
Tutors
Virtual tutors are available 24/7 so you can get homework help any time of day or night!
IT Support
You’ll be supplied with an internet-enabled Google Chromebook for the duration of the program. And you’ll have access to full IT support on weekdays to help with computer and student portal questions.
